Windows Server 2012 with Hyper-V and CX3-10c via iSCSI
We currently run a 7 host ESX 3.5 Update 5 environment using our CX3-10c over iSCSI for all VMs. We are considering moving a couple of our hosts to Windows Server 2012 with Hyper-V and provisioning out new LUNs for Hyper-V VM storage. Is anyone aware of any issues with this setup? We realize the CX3-10c is aging but should Windows Server 2012 work with it OK?
Thanks,
Jay

Hi,
As per the E-Lab compatibity Windows 2012 with CX3-10c is supported with some points noted...
1. x64 support only.
2. Microsoft Hyper-V for Windows Server 2012 supported.
3. Windows Server Core installation option is supported by EMC. Contact your server vendor to determine their support statement for Server Core.
4. Datacenter and Standard editions supported.
5. Veritas File System is not supported
I would recommend you to re-check other parameters and verify if you have a supported server model, HBA, firmware etc, using E-Lab Navigator from EMC Powerlink
Thanks

Ganapa,
Thank you for your quick response. I used the E-Lab Navigator.
