Creating Metalun is the way of expanding lun size in clariion/vnx.
You find many search results for MetaLuns in community similar to Re: MetaLUN . Also you will find many knowledgebase articles in support.emc.com

1. meta LUN just let multiple LUN together, can be used just one biger LUN.
2.you can create meta LUN use unisphere or navisphere manager or navicli .
3. hope get better performance or greater single LUN.

1.what is mean by meta LUN
2.How do we create with EMC navisphere
Refer Page 166 onwards of EMC Navisphere Manager ADMINISTRATOR’S GUIDE for Step-by-step instructions. (Navisphere Manager Administrator's Guide)
3.Why we are going for metalun
If a storage administrator requires additional space on the existing LUN, typically they go for LUN Expasion.
4. striped or concatenation difference
- Difference is mentioned in the Image 2. However, I would also suggest to read EMC CLARiiON Best Practices for Performance and Availability for more clarity from performance perspective for metaLUNs.
