CX4 Series the FLARE start from 4.28 – 4.30, FLARE 26 is not applicable for CX4 series…., Please double check the FLARE release from system>properties> Software tab.
Reason why I was asking you is , I want to know if you are using Unisphere Manager or Navisphere Manager , so that I can provide you Primus for generating SP collects and NAR files….
symmetrix logs (specifically logs from symcli commands) can be found in \Program Files\EMC\SYMAPI\log. If you want to know what's going on the frame you can use "symevent" command to poll the service process on the Symm.
In addition, in case of performance issues the field support team collects the STP logs from the symmetrix service processor which in turn gets analyzed by the local team and the recommendations are shared with the customer.

Hi ,
For CLARiiON, SP Collects are used for troubleshooting the array and NAR/NAZ files are used for performance reviewing of the array.
May I know the FLARE Release, model of your CLARiiON please….
For Symmetrix, I would suggest you to open a question in Symmetrix Fourm….
