SanCopy SP ports anf windows hosts

I just have a quick question?

Can I have ports zoned from a CX4-960 zoned to another CX4-960 and the same SP ports used in other zones for host connectivity?

example_  Array1 Spa5 zoned to array2 Spa5, etc and still have zones with hosts connected to the same SP port.  Or does SanCopy reserve the port for it own use?

SANCopy can use ports that are shared with hosts. The only restriction is with Mirrorview ports. Mirroview and SANcopy cannot share the same ports.

One restriction on the use of San Copy.

When you install the enabler to use San Copy, it enables each SP ports to be both an Initiator (host) and a Target.

When you have San Copy installed you must use single initiator to single target zoning otherwise the SP ports, being both a target and initiator, will log into each other if you have zones containing more than one SP port.

Supported

HBA <-> SPx port

Not Supported

HBA <-> SPx port

        <-> SPy port
