SAN Copy Enabler installaion fails with USM and NST
Hi
I am having clarion AX4 5i and I am trying to to install the SAN copy enabler "SANCopyOption-01.23.5.001-xpfree.ena" but I am getting the attached error message .
I have followed the below steps
- restarted the management server on AX4
- restarted the SP A and SP B on the AX4
But still the error appears
No Events found!

To install the SAN Copy enabler you have to also upgrade to the full Navisphere Manager by adding the Navisphere Manager enabler and the Expansion Pack enabler. You can find the procedure at EMC CLARiiON AX4-5 support

I am not sure because I am preparing the environment to perform a san migration from clarion AX4 to vnx 5100

i wonder if you need the snapview enabler as well.

Hi,i have the same problem.And when i install the ExpansionTier_enabler-01.01.5.001.ena in AX4-5SC,but i got the error message"it 's not support by this storage:Expansion"，pls have a check!Thank You！

As per my understanding you need the below enablers
-SanCopy
-NavisphereManagerAXEnabler
-Expansion_Tier_Enabler
also make sure that your flare is AX4-5-Bundle-02.23.050.5.711.pbu prior installing the SAN copy

Dear
I had installed the NavisphereManagerAXEnabler,Now i want to install MirrorView_Enabler and Expansion_Tier,But it tell me the storage is not support to install the Expansion_Tier. So Why?

This was answered via the following duplicate post:
AX4-5SC can not install ExpansionTier_Enabler
That's correct, the "SC" (single-controller) series only supports a maximum of 12 disks. You would have to upgrade it to a dual-controller configuration to obtain support for more DAE's/Drives that the expansion tier enabler offers to the non-SC models.
