Replacing 8 x 600 GB - asking for help (VNX5300)
Hi,
Any suggestions how to replace the existing unbound 8 x 600 GB SAS to 8 x 2 TB NL-SAS?
- Is there any documentation for this? I saw only "How to replaced faulted disk".
- Do we still need USM or just remove it with the power, then replace 2 TB disks then configure...
- Do we need an engineering mode to do this?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Since the 8 x 600 SAS drives are unbound disks,Just remove the SAS drives
and replace with NL SAS drives.
