regarding the queue depth calculation
I have a question regarding the formula LUN queue depth, EMC has the formula to calculate - (32+(14*LUN·s data drive quantity)).
I understand 32 is the HBA queue depth and i want to why they have included 14 and what it refers to.
Also could you please explain when the write cache re-hits will occur?

Maybe the disk queue depth?
The write cache re-hit will occur when the host performs a same write to LUN?

I believe Write Cache Re-hits are when::
a. a data block written recently is written again while still in cache
b. a read can be satisfied by a block still in write cache from a recent write
