Problem with new HDD on CX300

Kindly provide with the Drive part number. let me check if the drive is compatible with your CLARiiON "02.26.300.5.031".

Now the CX have FLARE 02.19.300.5.019 and the new HDD is a seagate 146Gb with part number 9X4007-130 and Firmware D717

in front on chassis adapter have a sticker with P/N 101-00-010 rev.03. this is the number? Thanks Suman

I am really sorry,I am unable to find the details from the information you have provided.  We need TLA part no to fetch the details; However I can provide you with the disk OE matrix, you may refer the same.

This is the information I found from the doc:

005048968 This is a short stroked drive and was not generally released into manufacturing however they may have been used as a temporary substitute or substituted by logistics as a viable replacement. If you have one in an array and require a replacement use a 146GB drive, Model CX-4G15-146. Use any drive found under this Model/Array type and meets the minimum FLARE requirement. However if this is the only available drive then it may be used

I believe you are trying to use a Symmetrix disk to the clariion system, and this will not work. The above link may require partner/EMC access. It works fine for me with partner login.

The Clariion CX300 purchased to DELL. I registered the EMC website, and  block the FLARE download why not register the product but the product is end of life, I have sent the petition for download and not answer the petition. Anybody help me and send me the FLARE 02.26.300.5.031? the use of cx300 is in the lab. thanks for all

Log-in through i.e. and click on home, even if you get the error message of un-authorization, will be able to access.
