Having problem to access the management gui of the cx4-120 SAN. I can ping both SPA and SPB. See attached log file gathered via serial. Any suggestions?
I have tried to troubleshoot by accessing the Https://128.221.1.250:9519 and Https://128.221.1.251:9519, but still cannot access the management gui window. I can ping both IPs but cant access the management screen.
I cannot access the http://sp_ip/setup. But i can successfully ping both SP_IP but cnt access the /setup window. It came with a blank screen. Please advise.

i am not able to login to https://128.221.1.250:9519 and https://128.221.1.251:9519. i can only ping both IPs. I tried to restart the SAN and still nothing..
managed to access the navisphere gui through the https://128.221.1.250. From the enterprise storage window it shows disks 0 and 1 failed from a 5 disks raid 5 configuration. Could that cause the SAN not to function. Will i have to rebuild the LUNs?
On the CX, you have a Management Port (IP), a Service Port (IP) and a serial port which is used for EMC service. What that log output is the SP Boot process connected to the serial port.
During BIOS Boot the speed on the serial port is 9600 baud, once the SP goes from Boot to loading and running the Flare, you need to establish a different setup to access that port.
If you use the Service Port you need to setup your PC for a PPP connection and set the PC port to 115200K baud
Line characteristic
Setting
Data bits
8
Parity
None
Stop bits
1
Baud rate
115200 baud
You should connect your PC to the Management Port (IP) and not the serial Service Port and see if you can get into Navisphere. If you do not know the IP address of the Storage Processors (SP Management Ports), then the Service Ports (IP) could also work.
Lastly, if you can't get Navisphere running in a Browser, remember that the CX is an older array and at the time it came out, it required Java 1.6.30 - it did not support Java 1.7 or higher.

Try restarting 1 Storage Processor or Graceful Power Cycle the array. If that doesn't work then may be further investigation is required.

Try to restart the Management Server on both SPs. Access http://sp_ip/setup then you can find a button to restart it.

Hi,
As you said, you are able to login to https://128.221.1.250:9519 and https://128.221.1.251:9519, try running below command on both SPs.
naviseccli getagent
If you see something like management server is not running on either of the SPs, try rebooting it and check if you can access GUI.
Regards,
Rajendra

Raid 5 and two failed drives, hmmm, hope you have good backup. Meantime, try accessing the array. Get the collects and check with support.
