Notification-Faulted Asynchronous mirror images on the system
Hi All,
We have configured Mirrorview/A between two sites. I received one alert mail and it states that the following lines,
***********************************************************************************************************
"There are faulted Asynchronous mirror images on the system. See alerts for details"
*****************************************************************************
as soon as i received i went to Unisphere and verified the alert status, i cannot findout any alerts related to faulted mirrors. and also i verified the secondary images for the mirrors and found the mirror state as "Synchronized". what i need to check further? kindly clarify me.

Do you have Consistency Group configured for MV? Maybe you need to collect the SPCollects logs from both sites and submit to EMC support for further investigation.

I found one related KB article emc303268 "Unable to sync MirrorView/A. Consistence Group system fractured" which reports the similiar error message as yours. However only EMC support engineer can view this article (its Audience is "Support"). You might need to call EMC support and cite this KB to the enginneer. The engineer might ask you to upload SPCollects logs for further analysis.

Hi
This is may be issue with the mirrorview configuration, please check the configuration and recommendations by EMC.
Ensure that the candidate secondary image LUN is not in a Storage Group, participating in another mirror or Clone Group, and has an identical size as the primary image.
