naviseccli getlun error
Hi,
I am currently working on a Clariion device which is managed using Navisphere Manager. I also run scripts on the side using naviseccli. I have various LUNs as shown in the screenshot but when I try to list out lun information using naviseccli, I get the information for LUN 13 only and then the following error 'navicli.exe Unknown error' (output attached). Looks like I may also be missing the last line(MirrorView name) in the output for LUN 13. I have searched the forums regarding this issue for a couple of days now but could not get any clue. Please help out. I have reinstalled Navisphere CLI but the error persists. Should i ask the storage guys to follow this up with EMC support? Thanks!
-Regards,
Arvind

Hi dynamox,
Heres the command :
naviseccli -h -User -Password -scope 0 -t 120 getlun
I can run naviseccli with other options such as getdisk, getrg etc., without any errors. I am getting this error only with the getlun option.
-cheers

Can you put a snap of the error you are getting. I couldn't see the mentioned error in the attached text.

Hi Vipin,
I'll be able to access the environment tomorrow only but there is nothing to the error other than the following text:
'navicli.exe Unknown error'
As mentioned above, when I run the command, I get the output for LUN 13 only which I had attached in my previous post and the error which i have mentioned in quotes above. I don't get any output for the remaining LUNs or any further errors.
-Thanks,
Arvind

What happens if you do that getlun without the LUN number? Do you get all the LUNs listed?
Does the version of naviseccli match the version of flare running on your array?
In your command line:
naviseccli -h -User -Password -scope 0 -t 120 getlun
What is the "-t 120"?
