Moving EMC hardware to New location
We need to move a small CX4 system from one building to another about 5 miles away. I have been told that we need to use a EMC certified moving contractor to do this. I can understand this if I need to ship the hardware out of the area. But all I need to do is pull this out of the rack and move it to another.
Does anyone have any details or documentation that outline the requirements for moving hardware?

you should be using EMC, otherwise your support contact maybe deem invalid. We had to move VMAX 5 tiles over and were required to use EMC. Now Clariion is no VMAX in terms of complexity but if you don't want to be on the hook for any repairs on breached support contract, you need to use EMC.
