Missing Templates on CX4-480
Hi All,
I have an older Clariion no longer under support that I use to keep VMWare image back ups on. I recently logged in and noticed a bad drive and wondered why I wasn't alerted, so I checked under CX4-480 --> Monitoring ---> Event Notification and realized my template was missing. If I select the distributed monitors tab and select either SP-A or SP-B, it tells me which template is (supposedly) in use below, and in my case my template was still listed here. However, when I select the Notification Templates tab, there are no templates listed. I even tried to create a new one, but even this new one never showed up. Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks!

I did. Still nothing there either. Very strange.
Thanks for the reply.

How are you connecting to the box? Navisphere or Unisphere? Either one, try downloading the last version of the off-array client, you can find them in http://support.emc.com

Thanks for the reply. I'll try an off-array Unisphere version, although EMC apparently doesn't make it easy or intuitive to find. Might be that it's called something different than what I'm looking for, but I'll have another try at it today.

Thanks, that did work great. Unfortunately nothing new from here, engineering mode or not. The plot thickens. There's not a lot on this array anyway, so perhaps I'll cycle the sp's at some point soon and see if that shakes things up a bit.

Unisphere Client (Windows) 1.2.27.1.0014
It's the fifth or sixth result...Don't know if the link below will work...

mmmm... Prior to restarting the SP's that it's an "disruptive" action, have you restarted SP's Management Servers? It often helps when there are problems with the GUI...

You can follow the KB "How to restart Navisphere/Unisphere Management Server" https://support.emc.com/kb/31599 or demo https://support.emc.com/media42895_How_to_restart_Navisphere/Unisphere_Management_Server_on_EMC_Clariion_or_VNX_Array.mp4?language=en_US to restart the management server.
Restarting management server does not affect server I/O to the storage system.

Thank you both for the tip. I restarted the Management Server (both SP's) with no luck, so I went forward with rebooting each SP, and still nothing under notification templates.
