Missing startup script for Naviagent for Linux
this package does not have the /etc/init.d/naviagent startup script, can someone post it for me to copy?
Or, suggest a better package to install on a new server using FC HBAs to connect to CX-120?

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "Documentum Support Forum".
For further guidance on engaging with the communities for Documentum and related products, please refer to the IIG Communities Getting Started Guide.
Here are links to the Unisphere Agent (service is still called naviagent though so still has signs of it roots as Navisphere Agent). It is backwards compatible even if for instance on your CX4 you are still by chance running FLARE 28 or 29. By now though, I suspect you have FLARE 30 which brings with it Unisphere 1.0.

Here are the corresponding Release Notes:

If you would like installation instructions, while the Release Notes have some comments, you can generate a walk-through document via the following:

This isn't a Documentum product. I think the question needs to go to the Symmetrix Support Forum.

Ooops, it was a case of copy-n-paste. It is currently in the correct community:
All Places > Support Community > CLARiiON Support Forum > Discussions
No relocation required.
