Locked out of my SAN

Hello, I recently gained responsibility of a clients network, and they have an EMC Clariion SAN that I do not have access to. It is mission critical that I am able to access the data, as we are moving their servers VERY soon, I was wondering if I could be given instructions on how to access. I tried creating a PPP connection using a serial cable but this did not work at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Will,

Can you try creating a PPP Connection again,by following step by step instruction from here: https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-8449

Moreover, Every CLARiiON SP also has a LAN service port to which you can connect using a standard straight-through Ethernet cable.

The default IP addresses for the LAN service ports are 128.221.1.250 for SPA and 128.221.1.251 for SP B. Refer EMC Knowledgebase article emc199379. Once you’ve connected using the LAN service port, then I reckon you can access the SP.
