Installing (Adding) new DAE4P to CX4-960
Dears,
I'm planning to install (adding) new DAE4P into exist running CX4-960. I have below questions
1. Need your input on what pre-checks need to be completed?
2. After mounting DAE's on to CX4-960 will it automatically pick up Enclosure ID's or need to set it manually? what would be the best practise for doing this?
3. Any other considerations? and what are others steps have to follow?
Thanks,

4. Plugged the data cable, fist to LCC B then A
5. Run Navispare
6. Configure the rests.

NST should walk you through the steps of connecting an additional DAE. Similar discussion

You should power on the extra DAE, set the enclosure id and then, only then, you plug in the data cables. The cx will then pick up the number you just set. So be careful to pick an id that hasn't been used yet.
