How to display the usernames in Unisphere quickly
This has been a sore thorn for quite some time I am hoping someone can provide a solid workaround. Here is the scenario, you add a user in AD. you give it wildcard path to the CIFS share on the NAS (CX480 in this case) for their home directory. It creates the folder fine and you have that CIFS location quota'd at say 5GB.
I need to copy up 6GB of data and apply owernship to the data for the user and set child objects as well. The usual method if you are moving people to the NAS. You need to copy more than 5GB so you copy a few items over, set the ownership, child objects, etc... then jump into Unisphere. In here you will select "Invalidate cache and refresh" so it will see the username/folder and you can select the properties and bump them up to what you need to copy the data.
The problem - you "invalidate and refresh cache" and IT TAKES AN HOUR for the UID number to translate to the username so you know which one it is to change the properties.
Question - Is there some other workaround to see what those usernames are in a more timely fashion. (PLEASE do not reply with a lengthy CLI process as the whole idea of Unisphere is to save time).

I would recommend that you post this question in the Celerra forum - the CLARiiON forum is more for the block array side.
