How do I get the Host LUN ID from VNX via SMI-S?
I am trying to programmatically match up the LUNs seen by my hosts running VMWare ESXi to the LUNS in the VNX 5300 by using the SMI-S api to the VNX 5300.. When I use the Unisphere GUI interface to the VNX and select the Hosts tab, open the storage groups and select the block storage I can see the Host LUN ID listed in the last column. This number matches what I can get from Vsphere for the LUN used by the hosts. But it is not the internal VNX LUN name nor its ID. I've tried getting via SMI-S CIM Instances associated with the LUN, but none seem to have the Host LUN ID I'm looking for. What reference or association do I need to get to find the Host LUN ID from VNX via SMI-S?
Some more details, All the LUNS are part of VNXPoolForBlock1
Name ID ... Host LUN ID
LUN 10 0 2
LUN 20 20 0
LUN 21 21 1
LUN 25 25 3
The same four hosts are using each LUN: hp-esx45, hp-esx46, hp-esx47 and hp-esx48
