EMC CX-4 Connecting to Console via Serial
Hi All,
We have changed the Network IPs of the EMc CX4 SPB and SPA from default setting to customer setting.
After configuration we are not able to access SPB. I can access to SPA with new IP but I can not access to SPB with nor new IP or default IP.
Is there any way to connect console and changed the Network setting for SP-B ?
I tried to use Cisco cable and Usb converter. I connect it to Serial port and configured my session COMx 115200 bps data bits is 8, Parity None, Stop bits 1 and unchecked the all box for Flow Control.
However, It shows nonsense character. I tried to change speed. But nothing changed.
What is the way to connect to console ? or How can I connect to SP-B from network ?
Thanks
Baris

3. Check the Peer SP IP address (SP-B) and Gateway IP address.
You may also refer EMC document from support.emc.com

You can connect your laptop to the Service LAN port ("D" port) of each SP, the default IP of each SP:
SPA: 128.221.1.250 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.248
SPB: 128.221.1.251 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.248
Then you can point your browser to http://128.221.1.250 or 251/setup to change the network configuration.
