EMC Clariion CX3-40 clear persistent reservation
After a power outage on a CX3-40 SAN we have a number of LUNs that are inaccessible to Windows 2003 clusters. Having been in touch with Microsoft they have advised us to clear the persistent reservation on these disks.
Unfortunately we don't have anyone in house with experience of how to do this. Can anyone advise?
It sounds as though rebooting the SPA might clear these, but having just recovered everything else after SAN power out we are reluctant to do anything that risks more problems.

I'm afraid these isn't a swtich on CLARiiON, I can only find how to clear persistent reservation on Windows 2012 or 2008:
Clear-ClusterDiskReservation
Clear-ClusterDiskReservation -Disk [[-Node] ] [-Force] [ ]
Maybe you can confirm with Microsoft again about if the command can be run on Windows 2003.

Thanks for the response, unfortuately Microsoft support weren't able to clear PR from a 2003 cluster, as you found they say this can only be done on 2008 or later.
They put the fault back on us to sort at the SAN level.
