CX4 SanCopy via FCOE and/or iSCSI?
We have 2 CX4 arrays in different datacenters and are looking for a way to replicate luns between the arrays.
Since the only link between the arrays is the WAN, I was thinking about using FCOE and/or iSCSI as a way to link the arrays via Ethernet.
Ive never done this before and am looking for options or opinions on how to proceed.

We have been using SanCopy to replicate our static Clone luns between arrays for years. The only new wrinkle is that the DR datacenter is being moved to a new facility.
I would like to continue using SanCopy, as we don't require any SYNC or real-time replication.
We only replicate static luns after the content has been verified.

SANcopy is really a migration tool ..not a replication tool that you use for every day DR/BC. Have you considered MirrorView/Recover Point ?

Is there an FCOE module for the CX4? How does one implement FCOE for CX4?

Some follow-up questions.
1) The diagram on page 164 seems to only show host-to-array FCOE connectivity. Is Array-to-array connectivity supported as well?
2) The document indicates we need to purchase FCoE modules for the CX4. Can those modules plug into existing 1Gb copper ethernet switches or do the switches need custom SW/FW to support the FCoE protocol?

2) these need to be special switches that support DCB (data center bridging), here is a good paper on FCOE

Interesting. However, I cannot control what switches are used between the 2 datacenters on the internet...
Is it possible to create a VPN tunnel and have the FCoE traffic go through the tunnel to avoid the DCB switch requirement?

nope, must have switches that support DCB. There is a distance limitation on FCOE (you will need to google that, it's not very long). Don't make it too complicated, use iSCSI with your existing Ethernet infrastructure.
