CX4-120 SP chassis replacement flare license
Hello all,
I have a cx4-120 behaving strangely.
SPS (enclosure SPE SPS A) is faulted. 0x7404
DPE (enclosure SPE) is faulted. 0x7409
Can no longer manage (SP A). 0x743a
PS (enclosure SPE power A0 is faulted. 0x7402
PS (enclosure SPE power A1 is faulted. 0x7402
SP (SP A) is faulted. 0x7403
I/O module (1) in SP (A) is broken. 0x745d
we have tried new SPS and a replacement controller and new PSUs, so now are looking to swap the SP enclosure, but I think this will cause FLARE to stop working due to license bound to the chassis ID. Is this correct and if so how do I get a new license key? Or better still can anyone suggest what is causing both PSU A0 and A1 to fault when so far as I am aware the SPS powers A0 and B0.

Hi Suman,
thank's for the reply but I don't think that applies in this situation as it states "Email alert with event code 0x743a stating SP A cannot be managed even though there is no fault on the array and generated many times per week." whereas in this case the controller is actually offline, no host I/O and it happens about once or twice a week.
