CX-120, LUN ownership uknown, can't trespass back.
Hello everyone,
I am facing this issue of one of the Lun's ownership is changed to uknnown after the preferred path went down.
Now i am unable to trespass the lun back to its originol owner and worst of it all is that this Lun is not visible to Host.
Logs are showing that first a disk failed then some media errors , then CRU powerdown and then unit down. i am guessing it somehow caused the prederred path of that Lun to go down.
i have attached the screenshots of the problem, hoping for some solution.
waiting for your kind response.
Regards,
Arsalan

If there's a failed disk have you tried to replace it ?

Looks like disk 0-1-4 failed - are there hot spares configured on the array? If so, you should check the status of the disk 0-1-4 in Unisphere to see if the hot spare has engaged. Also, you should open a case with EMC to replace the disk.

Thanx guys for the response.
We are currently in progress of ordering new spares. Hopefully it'll be resolved after the failed disks will be inserted.
