Ax4-5 disk1 misplaced

the disk 1 faulted  status in Navisphere express showing  F "Empty" then replaced with a new disk ( it's working in place 5), it's showing "Misplaced".

Some idea?

Try restarting management server and check the status.

After reboot the mgt server the status is still the same-(software showing: “Misplaced” ,in the front the device,, system faulted light and disk1 faulted light are on.

Is there some special disk to replace the system disks(0, 1,2,3)?

Any advice?

You haven't followed the proper procedure to replace the disk. This message is what it conveys.

What I did is that take it off and replace the new one.

Any I replace others like disk 8 , it’s working fine.

Any special?

Before taking it off, did you copy data on other spare drive ?

AX4-5 has Disk 0-3 as a Vault Pack when you replace a Vault Drive. Please, make sure the disk model is a part of a Vault Pack. Can you check if the disk is supported as a Vault Disk?
