Cisco SFP SFP-10/25G-CSR-S Compatibility with Dell S5248F Switches

Question

Hi All,

We are planning on introducing some new switches to our environment that support 10/25G SFP ports.

We have the option of buying SFP-10/25G-CSR-S for SFP requirements.

There is a requirement to have links between the new switches and the existing Dell S5248F.

So my question is would Dell S5248F switches work with SFP-10/25G-CSR-S SFPs?

Hello shamax22,

Here is a link to Networking Support & Interoperability Matrix. Your Dell S5248 should already have 25gb SFP’s in them so they should be able to connect to your cisco switch once configured correctly.
