Where is SSD? Dell Chromebook 13 3380 P80G002 Celeron 3855U
Hello! Where is the drive, described as "SSD," on my Dell Chromebook 13 3380 P80G002 Celeron 3855U 16GB drive?
This is "Reg Type" P80G002.
I found a couple websites and videos, but they ALL look different, with a 2.5" SATA drive. My guess is there is an m.2 SSD drive in here somewhere. This is not visible once I remove the underside cover. Is it under the aluminum tray that is where a 2.5" SSD would otherwise be, in the lower left?

I think I may have located this. It may be a square black component right in the middle of the MB. MB has silkscreened label "EMMC1" and component says "Sandisk" "SDINADF4-16GB" - can someone confirm?

That sounds right.
It isn't replaceable by the end user.

It's a chip, soldered onto the board. It is possible but it's really difficult and you could screw up your board. the board name for the Dell Chromebook 13 3380 is asuka

The Dell Chromebook 13 3380 P80G002 Celeron 3855U has an SSD for storage. However, locating the SSD might be less apparent compared to other laptops. It is likely situated beneath the aluminum tray in the lower left section of the laptop. Removing the underside cover may not reveal the SSD. If you plan to access it, exercise caution, and remember that doing so may void any warranty. If unsure, it's advisable to seek assistance from a professional technician or Dell support to avoid any potential damage to the device.
