How to forward delete on a Chromebook 11 3120

Previously, I have used Alt+Backspace to delete a character before a cursor, i.e. "forward delete", on a Chromebook 11 3120 which I bought in 2017.

That combination of keys does not do anything with my new Chromebook 11 3120.

Is there another combination which is a shortcut for Delete? If so, what is it?
