Chromebook is broken?

Recently, my Chromebook has started acting slow. Sometimes it will take 100 years just for it to load a page. I wasn't concerned before, but now I am because it's not charging properly. I have to keep it on the charger just for it to stay on, and the battery percentage is not showing up. Is there a solution to this problem?
