SLES11SP1 Support?

Hi all

A customer of ours upgraded their application server from SLES10 to SLES11SP1. I have seen that this is not a supported platform.

Are there any known problems with SLES11+?

Any plans to support SLES11+?

Access to objects is no longer possible now so a quick reply would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot, Holger

I personnally have not done any testing and as far as I can see neither has Engineering.

The plan is to try and support SLES11 sp1 second half of this year.

What actually happens when the customer tries to read the objects

Hi Paul

StorageSwitch can display the path of the filesystem and the files in stored. To me this means Active Directory and MySQL Connectivity as well as Storageswitch itself are ok.

Once a File is clicked resp. opened the user get's disconnected. That is where the SDK is invoked for the first time.

The StorageSwitch log shows java null pointer exceptions.

They could come from the SDK not having initialized correctly. At least that would be my take on this. What's your's?

Thanks for your insight which is as always helpful

Holger
