Setting up bidirectional replication on default pools
Hi,
If I have two Centera cluster currently replication from Prod to DR, and for historical reason the application using the default pool.
Is it possible to setup bidirectional replication on default pools?
Centera's are Gen4 C* is 4.0.0-2293-937-20439.
Thanks.

Hello,
The thread https://community.emc.com/message/378568#378568 should help you.
See the EMC Centera Replication White Paper on Powerlink.
You can find this White Paper on Powerlink at this location:

Thank You!
I have this document but it does not cover the default pool. But I have an older version for C* 3.1 and it is clearly states that you should not use the default pool during the setup of the bidirectional replication.
In my case a uni directional replication is already setup for this application I need to extend it to bidirectional if it is possible.
Thanks for the thread link I am going to check it.

After some thinking I find out a solution. Maybe.
Currently I have unidirectional replication. Prod ----> DR
If I configure this to the opposite direction then I have bidirectional.
It is important to switch OFF the "Replicate incoming replicated Objects".
After that do I need to create a PEA file merging all the PEA's I created during the setup of replications?
I need the current PEA, and the new what I created to the opposite direction. I think.

Now I cheked the thread you pointed, but there is nothing about default pool replication.
Anyway I found some interesting new information.
