Reflection size - deleting clips
We in the process of migrating data via application based export/import. Each app has its own pool. Once the migration is complete, I'd like to delete the data from the first (default) pool. My question is, how much space will the reflections take up that are left behind after the delete? Is it worth doing a purge instead of a delete (I understand that purge is a bit dangerous and depreciated) in order to conserve space?
Thank you,
Mitch

Any ideas how much space that reflection will take up?
Thanks,
Mitch

The reflection takes up very little space, but it does use up an object from the object count limit.

The object count is on a "per node" basis. Default is 50 million per node but this can be increased up to 100 million per node with recent versions of CentraStar.

Great. Thanks Graham.
If you expand the cluster by adding nodes, does that increase the object count limit or just add to the available space?
Thanks,
Mitch
