Problems with SDK 3.2 and AIX 6.1 ?

We are currently encountering problems with such a configuration at customers site and I would very appreciate any help.
I am not sure if the problem is caused by the configuration or if it is likely more caused by a lack of understanding.

The customer migrated our application (Beta UX 4.2 SP1) from an AIX 5.3 to an AIX 6.1 machine.
After having some general problems of adressing the centera machine (connection errors) the customer gets
a centera message while trying to retrieve data (The use of this operation is restricted (transid='betaux/16/READ_CLIP'), FP_OPERATION_NOT_ALLOWED)

For me, its obviously a security problem but the customer said that no changes to the PEA file were made.
I am not a centera specialist, so I do not know if there are further changes required when an application migrates to a different hardware.

I know that AIX 6.1 is not officially released, the customer obviously did not read all of the release notes and the problem is probably sitting in front of the monitor.

Does someone has any hint what we can check?
Maybe you have some ideas what we can do in order to make it work.
I personally do not believe that the problem is due to the operating system - but who knows!

Thank you very much!

Stefan

Suggest reviewing solution emc272277 to see if it applies.

Also make sure that the right profile is being used and profile used for the operation has the right capabilities for the operation.

Make sure the Cluster Mask and/or Virtual Pool Masks grant the capability needed.
