Oracle on Centera

We are looking to archive Oracle data on our Centera SAN. Does anybody know what we need to do in terms of licensing, additional software like powerpath, getting AIX to see the Centera disk, any problems that could be experienced in archiving Oracle on Centera's?

Hey,

Centera is not connected to SAN. It is only available by CenteraAPI or NFS / CIFS share by using CUA (CenteraUniversalAccess). You need an additional software like DiskXtender for Oracle. You could look at following document from oracle:
