New to EMC Centera, how to get started to learn quicker ?
Hello Centera Family...
We will soon have EMC Centera in our environment, I do not know how to get started with it. I do have strong background in other EMC products like VNX, VMAX, Vplex and Recoverpoint. Any direction to help me speed up this learning process will be highly appreciated. Please share any documents, video links and list of primary day-to-daily operation task.

Hi MeShah123
Centera will be quite different. There is an admin training wbt and such available for purchase.
What I suggest, is that you get in touch quickly under holger.jakob@informatio.ch. We can monitor your systems remotely for a quarter or so. Then during that time, we can plan a webex session during which we go through our report and I can show you the corresponding CLI Commands to get the same information. I will also explain why these values are important.
The session should not really take longer than two hours.
All of this for free as I would like you to be happy with Centera.
If you need assistance for the creation of pools, profiles, replication and application integration let me know also by email. We can plan a session to assist you.
Best regards, Holger

Thank you Jakob for your suggestion. But I cannot make call to outsource the monitoring of the devices, its way beyond my authority. I am looking for some suggestions to learn Centera.
