Encryption of network traffic between client and Centera/ECS using Centera SDK

When using Centera SDK version 3.4 for Windows (CenteraSDK_3.4_Windows_64): is the traffic between Client and Storage (default port 3218) encrypted? For example TLS?
Or if not by default, is there an option in the library to encrypt the network traffic?
