Centera Upgrades with Mixed Nodes?
I have a customer that is trying to upgrade capacity on an older centera. they currently have 4 x 2TB nodes and 2 x 4TB nodes. There used to be a nice guide that described the upgrade matrix for centera with mixed nodes, but that is nowehre to be found on powerlink. Is there such a document now that can help me figure out what nodes they can be upgraded with?

Hi John,
Thanks for the quick reply. the problem is that the customer has both Gen3 and Gen4 nodes in the config and they are of different sizes. i wanted to make sure that the new gen4LP would work with their current setup.

Hi,
yes you can. I manage system with mixed drives in the same cube, they are gen4 with 1,2TB (320GB HDD) and 2TB (500GB HDD) nodes.
