Centera CLI hangs when ends the session with the "quit" command

Hello.

I run the Centera CLI in a batch procedure. Since the upgrade to CentraStar 4.0 SP1 I use also the Centera Tools in the newest Version 4.0 but now the Centera CLI hangs if I run a "quit" command inside the batch procedure. I've tested this problem also by open a manual CLI session with the same result.

Versions:
CLI 4.0.1792, 2008-07-17
CentraStar 4.0.1-2711-955-20523

Thanks and regards,
Gerald

I had the same problem, and ended up running the tasks in the background and then sleeping the script to make sure it finished, then finding the pid and killing the process. It is not pretty, but a decent work around until the new CLI is released.

Primus article (emc201373) has been updated.

Permanent Fix:

This problem is resolved in CV/CLI version 4.0SP2 [4.0.1997]. From Powerlink follow the path: Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads C > Centera Enterprise Software. In the section titled "Customer CD (Includes CV and CLI)" select the appropriate file named "Customer CD for v4.0.2" image for your OS.
