Can't connect to centera via CenteraViewer 4.2 or CLI

I have five Centeras running CenteraStar 4.2 and 4.1 but I can only connect to four of them. for cluster name i use 'default' or IP address, then enter the IP and port 3682. I get an error "can't connect to cluster 'default', check if cluster is running, IP and port is correct. I can connect using the same IP address via JCenteraVerify, i can ping and telnet to the IP address, i have no firewall inbetween. I can get to the centera via the emcservice account using ssh. but i can't connect when using the admin account via centera viewer or cli. please help.

Hi Maselk
Please get in touch with me on holger.jakob@informatio.ch.
Are there similarities between the ones that work vs. the one that doesnt?
CV is only compatible downwards.
Is there a management network on the one that does not work or not all nodes being configured as management nodes?
There are plenty of possibilities. I can assist you in a remote session with Netwiewer or Teamviewer if you like to. Would need the Health Reports in advance to prepare.
Best regards, Holger
