what do you use to manage a large number of permissions?

Hi,

managing a Celerra in a big company normally ends up managing thousands of folders and large tree folders where also thousands of users  access them.

this makes managing permissions a pain and I always wonder if there is a better way than the windows Security dialog from folders properties.

I did some searches on Google but couldn't find anything worthy.

so, does anyone knows of any software that let's you manage a large number of folders, shares and files and that not only applies permissions but also show them organize and maybe store them in a table for reports?

thanks.

Joaquin.
