I would assume that if you can ping but not connect, that the sshd process has crashed and burned. If you can't get in via dynamox suggestion (which requires sshd to be functioning), you will need to connect via the serial port.

do you have access to the control station where you could connect directly from your laptop to the LAN port ? (assign your laptop IP on the same network as the control station). It might be that Control Station locked up and just needs to be rebooted.

you can reboot CS without impacting production access, simply type “reboot”

kjosh, your shares are hosted by the primary datamover, so a reboot will not affect the shares. It will only affect your ability to administer the Celerra itself.

Output of command : /nas/sbin/getreason
10 - slot_0 primary control station
5 - slot_2 contacted
5 - slot_3 contacted
which means I have only one Control station in my environment , do you think rebooting this CS will not affect production ?
I don't want to be in situation where I reboot CS and production is affected .

don't worry, the only thing that you might miss is if you have snapsure schedules that need to run at tthat time ..they simply will not run.
