Sizing celerra to migrate an existing host based personal storage solution (File Server)

Hi all,

We have a File server running on Mac OS-X to provide personal storage for the users over the network.

We have about 2500 users and smbd is used on Mac for file serving. We have Windows, Mac and and Linux clients.

As the file server is reaching EOL, We want to move the solution on a celerra.

I am not able to choose the celerra as i am not able to find any tool or document on celerra sizing.

Can somebody help me on this.

Thnaks,

Kirubha.V

If ist juse one MacOS server that its replacing then even the smallest VNX should be able to handle it in terms of CPU / memory

In terms of number of disks you would need to look at your current workload or current config
