shrink or delete storage pool
We would like to use some or all of the disks associated with a Celerra storage pool for Clariion SAN.
Is there a good reference the steps needed to shrink or delete storage pools?
Thank you.

First identify who is using which dvols
Whereisfs or nas_disk/fs/.. are your friends
See if you can free up complete dvols
Use the forum search for details - this has been discussed here a couple of times

I did not need to "shrink" the storage pool. All that was necessary (after determining that the volumes were not used) was to run: nas_disk -delete dvol
Then on the Clariion side I was able to move the LUNs to a different storage group.

I did have a support chat active when I did this, as I wanted to make sure it was done correctly. I specifically asked about the -perm switch, and was told it was not needed.
I wish EMC support read from the same playbook as you guys.
But, thanks for your help. I appreciate these forums.

you always want to use -perm when you do that.
