Share a readonly filesytem.
I am attemping to give access to the read-only filesystem (It's the target of replication). Can I simply create a share, and select a server?

I have a VDM with 3 filesystem on a NAS and the filesystems are replicated to a different NAS in another state. I have a user that wants to access the replicated filesystems, which I noticed are in a read-only state.

Use a CIFS server on the physical data mover to access them

I tried creating a share on the physical datamover and using a vdm but it would not let me access the share.

Just do a search here on the forum – its been discussed a couple of times
You should be able to access through its C$ share
Of course if you are using localgroups to grant access then you will have problems
