ReplicatorV2 from Celerra to VNX poor Performance
Hello Everyone,
at the moment i have to migrate some Filesystems from an old Celerra to a new VNX5300. The Replication works, but is very Slow. There is a 1Gbit Link between the Datamovers without Firewalls. I have a Bandwith Throttle Configured with 500Mbit´s and with 4 Sessions i only get round about 12-15MB´s.
Anyone seen this before and had some Troubleshooting Tips for me?
regards,
Martin

Are you seeing the 12-15MB from the Celerra Replicator commands/gui or from network graphing? Is replication (both source and target) using a dedicated physical network interface or is it shared?

Hey Mark,
the 12-15MB are the Summary of "Current Transfer Rate (KB/s)" seen with the nas_replicate -info Command. The Replication uses the same fsn on the Source as the User Shares, we decided to do that because the System is not so heavyli used.

I'd check out network usage graph of that interfaces to see how much it is pushing in total.. I haven't found the nas_replicate especially accurate..
