replication issues

Hello,

Our replication destination celerra experienced a power outtage, and replications are no longer functioning.

They appear fine on the source side, but replications have somehow been completely lost on the destination celerra, even the Replication ID is missing. If I delete the replication on the source side, the FS on the destination, and recreate the replication, it works fine, but it's a tedious process and we have a large number of filesystems.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lewis

Please open a service request so that customer service can investigate

The target data in /nas/quota/slot_2/root_vdm_1 has the directory structure in place for the replicated FS, but there is not any data under the directories. With the exception of the ones I recreated.

A nas_replicate -l on the source lists the replications with the error "Critical 8865448248: The replication session encountered an error that halted progress."  The destination side only shows the replications that I re-created.

Thanks.

Can you still see the target data in /nas/quota/slot_2   or is the data missing?

What does nas_replicate -l look like?

Unfortunately opening a SR isn't an option. Is there a way to determine the SavVol status?

This error, "The replication session encountered an error that halted progress", sometimes indicates other issues, such as the destination SavVol filling up.  If you haven't opened an SR, please do so and let Support help ensure the system is ready to return to service.

Why isnt it an option? No service contract ?

No service contract on this particular piece of equipment, hardware is handled by a 3rd party.
