NTP on NS20

How often does NS20 sync the time with the NTP server? How can I manually initiate the sync?

See server_ntp or server_date

Yes it is failing – that is what miss means

You can set the date manually with server_date – see man server_date

Does the following output mean that sync is failing?

[nasadmin@EMC-A ~]$ server_date server_2 timesvc update ntp
server_2 : done
[nasadmin@EMC-A ~]$ server_date server_2 timesvc stats ntp
server_2 :
Time synchronization statistics since start:
hits= 0, misses= 0, first poll hit= 0, miss= 366
Last offset: 0 secs, 0 usecs
Current State: Running, disconnected, interval= 60
Time sync hosts:
x.x.119.53, x.x.119.35,

I have manually sync the time using the following command. I am able to ping the NTP servers.

server_date server_2 timesvc update ntp

If it fails, how can I set the time manually? In GUI I could not find the option to set the time?
