NS122-A Additional Gig/E ports
Is it possible to add additional Gigabit Ethernet ports to a Celerra NS122? Currently, each of my Data Movers have 4 - 1 gb ports. I see the Storage Processor has some available slots and I was wondering if a 4-port module is available for expansion or if this is supported.
Thanks.....

yes, ports on the SP are for block only - I.e. Clariion ISCSI
you could also inquire with sales about changing your current 4x1GBit data mover with one that has 2x 10GBit and 2x 1GBit

Hi,
no..it's not possible to change the Data Mover/blade configuration on NS120. Only the SP's are modular.
When ordering you can choose two types of configurations ( 4 Gbe cooper OR 2 Gbe cooper+2 10GB optical ).

I would like to use the additional ports with the Data Mover in order to setup another separate trunk group from my current......
What would adding ports to the Storage Processor allow? Would that let me run iSCSI directly to the SAN without going thru the Celerra?
