NS-120 upgrade to 6.0.70.4

Hi.

We have an old NS-120 that we recuperated from another site.

We are trying to perform a full install to the DART/FLARE version 6.0.70.4 by using the DVD.

All storage groups, LUNs, etc have been deleted/zeroed from the Cx4-120 before the reinstall was started.

During the upgrade we receive the message "Data Mover 2 Port 0 not logged in backend".

Shortly after this message "Setting up Storage Groups.... Failed." is displayed.

Answering "yes" to the question "Do you want auto-config to retry Storage Group setup?" does not help.

The cabling was checked and double checked and is according to the documentation.

The NS-120 has been powered off and powered on several times.

No fault leds are showing; all is green.

Unfortunately we do not have a support contract any more....

Anybody any ideas on how to solve this "Data Mover 2 Port 0 not logged in backend" error ?

Regards,

K.

Hi,

Can you please verify the initiators that are still registered with the SPs:

$ /nasmcd/sbin/naviseccli.bin -h -User nasadmin -Password nasadmin -Scope 0 port -list " more.

And please check the output.

Thanks

Jyothi
