Not able to create a folder on NAS share

I'm  facing issue for creating a folder on NAS share. May be not having share permission on this Filesystem.

Is there a way from Storage end where I can give permission to this share

How can I check what permission is given to this share.

Consider moving this discussion to Celerra Support Forum (Actions > Move). You have no way to change the permissions for a CIFS share from storage end. You will have to do this from Windows side by navigating to the root directory of the CIFS server..

Hi,

Have you joined the CIFS server to the Domain? By default Domain admin group has the administrative right on the CIFS server, you may connect to the server using MMC and check the Share permission. Also, check the NTFS permission on the folder once you connect the share as a network drive.

By the way, please ensure the file system is not mounted read-only.

My 2 cents and I am sure other experts will help you to resolve this quickly.

Thanks,
Sandip
