New NS-120 Admin
Just racked a brand new NS-120 , first time EMC user. Previously managed a HP Lefthand P4500. Was searching around powerlink but there is so much info on there I had a hard time locating just a basic NS-120 admin guide. Looking for any recomended docs to help me get more familiar with the new toy. Would greatly appreciate any insight. Cheers.

here is the documentation section for Celerra, a lot of good stuff to get you started

oh yeah, on that page with all the documents, look for this one "Configuring and Managing CIFS on Celerra" ..there is a section on how to configure HOME directories feature on Celerra.

There is also a more in depth white paper called "White Paper: EMC Celerra Home Directory - A Detailed Review" on powerlink.
It can be found here:
Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Hardware/Platforms Documentation > Celerra Network Server > White Papers

I would suggest to download the whole Doc CD or package for your release from Powerlink - that way you dont have to hunt for individual manuals

and if you like to tinker around , here is a Celerra virtual appliance that runs the same code as your NS120 so you can test all the DART features you like without impacting production unit:
